Funding is available for all 3 and 4 year olds (from the term after their 3rd birthday until they attend school) and for eligible two year olds (from the term after their 2nd birthday until they are eligible for the universal three year old entitlement). Children can access stretched funding only, of up to 11 hours per week of funding over 52 weeks of the year, or if entitled to additional hours, up to 22 hours a week over 52 weeks of the year. Unfortunately, we do not offer any term time only places for 15 or 30 hours per week over 38 weeks of the year due to being open all year round. Stretched funding can be accessed provided that:
Funding can be split between a maximum of 2 settings providing that the maximum entitlement for the number of hours of funding is not exceeded between the two settings.
Children attending all year round for less than 15 hours per week can access all of their funding.
It provides more consistent childcare costs for parents who pay for holiday care/additional hours.
If both parents living within the household are working, you may be eligible for an additional 15 hours (11 stretched) per week.

Additional hour codes are provided by the government to eligible families, before each term starts (January, April and September). As long as we have been given this code and relevant checks have been made, your child can start to claim these hours from the start of the following term. However, it is important that these codes are kept updated every three months. Failure to do so may result in your eligibility being withdrawn, making you liable for the nursery fees.

If you receive a place, your child can start their funded childcare the term after their 2nd birthday. Funding will continue until your child becomes eligible for funded early education grant the term after their third birthday.
If you're a working parent you can open an online account to pay for registered childcare. The government will top-up the money you pay into the account.
For every £8 you pay in, the government will add an extra £2. You can receive up to £2,000 per child - that's up to £500 every three months. If you have a disabled child, you can receive up to £4,000 per child - that's up to £1,000 every three months.
