Qualification: MA Personnel & Development, BA (hons) Business Studies, NVQ Level 3 Diploma.

Lucy is the daughter of the original founders of Rainbow Corner Nursery School - Jacqui and Geoff Scott. Lucy acquired the family business in April 2013, although the nursery school has always been a big part of her life. Prior to this Lucy completed a four year Business Studies degree at the University of Portsmouth, specialising in Human Resources.

Once graduated, Lucy worked as an HR Consultant for both the BBC and Orange Business Services in London, during which time she gained a Masters in Personnel and Development at the University of Westminster and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). In 2010 Lucy had her son, Elliot. Being a parent herself and understanding the importance of good quality childcare, she naturally became more involved in the family business. She has since completed her NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people's workforce.

Qualification: BA (Hons) in Education and Training Studies (NVQ 6). Currently studying at the University of Portsmouth for her Early Years Teacher Status.

Emma has dedicated her adulthood to working with and supporting children to learn and develop within a childcare setting. Since starting her career in childcare she has made every effort to further educate herself, gaining a level 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 NVQ in Childcare as well as an NVQ Level 2 in Team Leading and is now currently studying towards her Early Years Teachers Status at the University of Portsmouth.

In 2017 Emma had her daughter Kyla and had her second child in July 2018.

Kath works part-time in the office supporting both Lucy and Emma. Prior to joining Rainbow Corner, Kath had held a number of Receptionist and Administrative positions.

Qualification: City and Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People’s Workforce

Debbie has worked in Early Years for 25 years, working her way from Assistant Trainee to Nursery Manager, a position she has held since 2008. Debbie has a wealth of experience and qualifications and has a true passion for creating a safe and stimulating environment to promote learning, with a love of the outdoors. Debbie has also worked as Safeguarding Lead Practitioner and prides herself on the links she maintains with other professionals.

Qualification: CACHE NVQ level 3 qualified CCLD

Helen began her career in Education as a Teaching Assistant, working in a number of overseas schools. Since returning to the UK, Helen has worked as a Room Leader and Deputy Manager in the Pre-School of a Junior School, combining her knowledge of Early Years whilst supporting children in their transition to school. Helen believes working with children is a privilege and a joy.

Qualification: Level 3 Forest School Leader, NVQ Level 3 Diploma

Louise has been a qualified Forest School Leader for more than 10 years and during that time has set up two Forest Schools, delivering various sessions including pre-school, Reception to Year 6 and community sessions. Louise has a strong belief towards the ethos of Forest School and how it encourages children to take risks in a safe environment and enjoy the freedom of learning in the outdoors. Louise is also qualified in Early Years and that is where her passion lies and so is excited to be back working with the younger children again. She is also a qualified swimming instructor.

Qualification: NVQ Level 3 Early Years and Education

Sharon has worked in Education for more than 20 years, starting as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, moving up to Deputy Manager and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinatier) in an Infant School and Nursery. Sharon then moved on to spend time as a Room Leader & SENCO in a nursery school for two years before becoming a private nanny. Sharon has worked as a nanny for the past 13 years and has very much enjoyed playing a big part in her families lives. She is now looking forward to retuning to a nursery setting.
