My four year old has been at Rainbow Corner for 2 years now, it’s her home from home and a place I know she loves, full of wonderful caregivers who have such a great rapport with the children. There are always new and fun activities and she thrives from the variety. I am always greeted at pickup with smiles and stories of the days adventures and the staff often have fun tales to fill me in on about her day. I have regular catch ups with the staff which is both informative and reassuring. I honestly couldn’t wish for more from a nursery, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Benji has been at Rainbow Corner since September 2020, when he just turned one. He immediately settled into a very caring, fun and adventurous setting. The staff at Rainbow Corner really care about the children and make their days full of fun, exploring and something different every day. As he has progressed to Butterflies, he continues to love Rainbow Corner and I am confident he will be well prepared mentally and emotionally for Reception in Sept 2023. Thank you to Lucy, Hayley and the rest of the fantastic team.

When deciding which nursery to choose for my son, I had no doubt I would like him to follow in his sisters footsteps and attend Rainbow Corner. It is a great place for little ones to start their journey. The staff are so kind and nurturing and the different rooms are used well to help develop all aspects of learning and play. Both my children have absolutely loved going and I couldn't ask for a better setting for them!

Key Person

Each child has a Key worker who has overall responsibility for that child’s learning and development.

Progress

Children develop the various skills, attitudes and levels of maturity until they embark on pre-school activities.

Free Flow

Each group is an established ‘free flow’ environment, allowing and encouraging children to make their own choices.

Individual Interests

Children’s individual interests are adapted and developed to encourage and support them.

Why ‘Free Flow’ and Not Structure?

All the time we are allowing children the time to learn through their own play, we do not need to be forcing them to join in with set activities, they are not going to learn if they do not want to take part in the first place. By allowing children to learn through themselves and creating a stimulating free flow environment with continuous resourced play provision, it enables children to flourish. This allows for key persons to capture the teaching moments and seize the opportunities to further enhance and develop a child’s learning, by supporting and encouraging them to think deeper and draw on what they already know.
