Nursery Owner

Qualification: MA Personnel & Development, BA (hons) Business Studies, NVQ Level 3 Diploma. Lucy is the daughter of the original founders of Rainbow Corner Nursery School - Jacqui and Geoff Scott. Lucy acquired the family business in April 2013, although the nursery school has always been a big part of her life. Prior to this Lucy completed a four year Business Studies degree at the University of Portsmouth, specialising in Human Resources. Once graduated, Lucy worked as an HR Consultant for both the BBC and Orange Business Services in London, during which time she gained a Masters in Personnel and Development at the University of Westminster and became a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). In 2010 Lucy had her son, Elliot. Being a parent herself and understanding the importance of good quality childcare, she naturally became more involved in the family business. She has since completed her NVQ Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people's workforce.

Nursery Manager

Qualification: CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education Hayley has previously worked in a similar childcare setting, working her way up from Pre-School Assistant to Pre-school Manager over the course of 9 years. Hayley has also been a private nanny for one family for the past 2 years. Hayley is looking forward to returning to a nursery environment and in particular expanding her knowledge of Forest School.

Deputy Manager/ Room Leader

Qualification: BA (hons) Early Years Education and Practice

Start Date: 2nd May 2022 Louise has held a number of positions both within nursery settings and infant/primary schools over the past 20 years, however her passion remains with Early Years and working with pre-school aged children. Louise has also worked in a number of SENCO (special Educational Needs) roles, supporting children with additional needs. Having achieved her NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, Louise continued on to University where she gained a First Class Honours Degree in Early Years Education and Practice.

Room Leader

Zabrina joined our team in August 2023. Zabrina has a wealth of experience working within nurseries with children aged from birth to 5years. Zabrina enjoys supporting children's development and finds their successes rewarding.

Room Leader

Rianne has got her level 3 diploma in childcare. Rianne enjoys studying theories behind how children learn and finding reasons why some children display certain behaviours. Rianne enjoys providing creative and messy activities for the children to explore and use their imagination.

Forest School Leader

Lucy joined Rainbow Corner in November 2022. Lucy holds a BA Honours in Early Childhood studies and a level 3 forest school qualification. Lucy has worked in various positions over the years including nursery practitioner, third in charge, deputy manger and forest school leader. Lucy loves to get the children exploring the outside world in all weathers.

Deputy Room Leader

Danielle joined Rainbow Corner in March 2023, Danielle is a level 3 qualified practitione. Danielle has 6 year’s experience in childcare working in a range of different environments from nannying to nurseries. Danielle has a lot of experience with all different age groups and has a real passion for early childhood learning. Danielle enjoys sharing books and singing with the children.

Nursery Practitioner

Hollie joined Rainbow Corner Windlesham in July 2023. Hollie is embarking on her Childcare qualifications so is new to the nursery environment. Hollie however is taking this in her stride, her happy, friendly personality shines through, embracing her new career. Hollie really enjoys creating fun exciting activities for all children to enjoy and explore.

Kim joined Rainbow Corner in November 2024. Kim has worked at a range of different settings over the course of her childcare career. Kim holds a level 3 qualification in childcare. Kim loves to explore the natural world with the children and help them to use their senses whilst exploring in nature

Maxine joined Rainbow Corner in November 2024. Maxine is a level 3 qualified member of staff and worked at her previous nursery for 19 years working her way from nursery practitioner to curriculum lead. Maxine has a real passion for storytelling and children using their imagination to immerse themselves into a story and bring it to life.

Nursery Practitioner

Emma joined Rainbow Corner in April 2026. Emma has a level 3 qualification in Childcare and has worked with all age groups throught her childcare career. Emma is very passionate about planning in the moment by picking up on the children's interests and planning activities to really engage them. Emma also loves to be creative with the children and really get them building their imagination.

Nursery Assistant

Mia joined Rainbow Corner in July 2025. Mia had been working in Australia as a nanny and developed an interest in childcare whilst she was over there. She has returned home to the UK and wants to continue developing her skills and gain her childcare qualification, Mia is currently completing her level 3 qualification in childcare. Mia loves to be a big part of the children’s learning by watching them play and interact and help them build on their current skills to further their learning.

Nursery Assistant

Rheanna joined Rainbow Corner in June 2025. Rheanna had been working with us as an agency member of staff and fell in love with the nursery ethos and developed a real passion for early years. Rheanna is now currently working towards her level 3 childcare qualification, she loves to get creative with the children and helping them to really use their imagination.

Nursery Assistant

Emma joined Rainbow Corner in June 2025. Emma gained an interest in childcare whilst at college and will be undertaking her level 3 qualification in childcare. Emma is really excited to learn and build on her skills and learning. Emma loves to explore the outside with the children and explore in nature.

Nursery Assistant

Arianna is new to childcare and was seeking a role which worked around her little one at home. Arianna is looking forward to working as part of a team and learning more about childcare which will help support her little one at home.

Lily joined Rainbow Corner in September 2025 and is working towards her level 2 qualification in childcare. Lily really enjoys helping children to explore messy play and new textures and experiences that may be new to them.
